In June 2018, LEAF introduced the LEAF Fellowship - a research grant to be awarded to participants on an annual basis. The Grant has been instated in the name of the Founder of LEAF, Prof. Prabhakar B. Bhagwat, and hopes to further topics that were of interest to him - Botany, Vedic Literature, History, Landscape Design, Ethno-botany, Archaeology, and Plant material.
Much like the organization itself, the LEAF Fellowship aims at promoting adaptable and practicable research that can extend well beyond the immediate context and circumstances under which the research was conducted in the first place. It aims to look at fields that have the ability to govern the discourse on urbanity, environment, and culture on a larger; constantly drawing connections between these ideas.
The Fellowship hopes to generate peer-reviewed literature in these areas, and create communities that are interested in allied areas of research.
