Also, in the studio space, against the Northern Lights are 10 screens that tell the tales of 10 mythical landscapes that have at their core natural elements, and spaces. Designed by the Studio, and executed by Anek Taanka, these screens are embroidered on Madarpatt, and allow the viewers to envision a world that is utopian, and indeed aspirational. They are nuanced narratives that, when read carefully, become demonstrative of ideas beyond themselves; of ideas of survival, of morality and ethics, and the many roles that landscapes have played in shaping our ever-evolving notions of civilisation.
