PALACE ON THE HILL

The studio was commissioned to undertake the design of a house in a prominent location within a weekend development; oriented to look at a lake towards the North. The space has been planned keeping in mind the principles of Vaastu – an indicator of layouts, measurements, spatial arrangements, and geometry.

This became an opportunity to unlearn, and relearn ideas pertaining to design, and the redefined values associated with it. In so doing, the studio was able to demonstrate the need to be agile in design thinking, while constantly instilling value in the execution of the design. The space was designed to provide an experience of luxury, grandeur, and order.
